Dr Col Adi Shanker Mishra ‘Aaditya’ Conferred with ‘Salute Achievers Award’ Lucknow, April 2026: Dr Col Adi Shanker Mishra ‘Aaditya’, a well-known poet, creative writer, litterateur, and social worker based in Lucknow, has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Salute Achievers Award’ along with a Certificate of Achievement by the Salute Achievers Honorable Foundation, a Government of India-registered organisation. The award was conferred on 31 March 2026 in recognition of his exceptional dedication and contributions to Hindi literature. The award acknowledges Dr Mishra’s unwavering commitment to literary excellence and his significant role in enriching Hindi literary traditions through his writings and social engagement. Dr Mishra has previously received several distinguished honours, including Honorary Vidyavachaspati, Vidyasagar, Sahitya Ratn, Sahitya Shiromani, and Bharat Gaurav Samman from Kashi Hindi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi. In addition, he has been awarded over 700 national and international recognitions, appreciation certificates, and commendations from various reputed institutions and organizations. He also holds honorary doctorates in Hindi Literature, Social Sciences, and Divinity. An accomplished author, Dr Mishra has written the widely appreciated ‘Aadityayan’ series, comprising ten books of poetry, along with two books on diverse themes. Five more books are currently in the pipeline. He has also contributed as a co-author to over seventy books.
